Abstract

This paper attempts a review of the novel, Kintu, by Makumbi Jennifer Nansubuga. The review employs the descriptive review technique to explore the African cultural traditions captured in the Ugandan traditional society. The belief system and the cosmologies of the Ugandans, as opposed to the Western culture, were clearly captured. Both the linguistic and the literary styles employed in the analysis of the text were appropriately captured.
