KIABARA (ISSN 03318168; e. ISSN: 24889695) is a peer-reviewed journal of the Humanities and related disciplines. Two issues are published annually in both print and online formats. Special Issues are published once a year to allow for deeper focus on specific themes or disciplines. KIABARA invites scholarly articles based on original research or innovative theories/methodologies originating from the Humanities. KIABARA promotes and encourages scholarship rooted in interdisciplinary perspectives and innovative theoretical frameworks. It also welcomes extensive review articles, catalogue essays and art criticism/theory.
